Scott's Corner

On February 27, 2009 we received news that one of our employees, Scott Simcox from our North Carolina office, was being deployed to Iraq. Although we are sad to see him go, the Zenith family is extremely proud of him and we keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Every so often, we receive updates from Scott and we would like to share them with you.

We received notice that Scott will be returning to Zenith Marketing on May 17th!!! We wish him a safe trip back and looking forward to seeing him again!

I just received a lovely package of goodies today! And what a nice surprise. Every bit of it was so thoughtful. Not sure if I can eat every bit of candy, trying to watch my physique. Hope you do not mind but I will probably share with the soldiers. Not sure if you saw my latest pictures on Facebook but I have attached some of me at the latest concert to hit our base with Chris Rock, Carlos Mencia, and Jesse James. I also included pics of Quinn. Please pass along this message to all that contributed. Thank you again and have a wonderful Christmas!!!!

Quinn seems to be doing well.  I have decided to take my mid-tour leave and will be home for about two weeks in January.  I will stop by the Charlotte office to give everyone hugs.  Looks like our demobilization will begin early April. Things over here are business as usual (militarily speaking).   We have become accustomed to your our daily duties and the "ground hog days" are taking their toll.  I am ready to get back home!  Keeping my chin up and looking forward to getting back to work for Zenith.

Hello All! I have finally made it to Baghdad.  I arrived Wednesday and am busy getting settled in.  I now have internet access, Armed Forces Network TV (a whopping 8 channels), am living in n a Container Housing Unit (about the size of a college dorm), have access to a gym, and am eating well.  I start work this Tuesday as the Chief Operations Officer for Victory Base Camp.  I have attached a couple pictures of me in Kuwait and will send more of Iraq soon.  Take care and will send more updates via Zenith’s email.

Zenith Marketing Group received news that Scott Simcox (Major Scott Simcox, US Army) will be leaving us on April 5th, 2009 for Enduring Iraqi Freedom. He will be stateside for a few weeks, completing additional training, before leaving for Iraq. Once deployed, he will be gone for possibly up to a year.
