Frequently Asked Questions

Case Management
Yes, you must submit both of these items with every formal application. The Zenith New Business Transmittal assists your case manager in entering the application quickly by giving them important details on the case regarding agent, client, medical orders, and if the case was discussed before submission. Additionally, the signed Zenith HIPAA allows Zenith to obtain access to otherwise confidential information as well as discuss the case informally with other carriers should we need to move the case to a different carrier. It saves you time by not having to go back to the client a second time for signatures if we need to shop the case to other carriers.
No, your Zenith case manager will make sure all identifying information is placed on the application before submitting it to the carrier. However, you should make sure that the writing agent name is easily legible on the Zenith New Business Transmittal form. Also, clearly mark any splits to make sure your commission is processed quickly and correctly when the case is marked in-force.
After logging onto our website, click on the ‘Case Status’ link in your Quick Links box to view your cases.

Yes, replacement forms are now mandatory for New Jersey, otherwise, applications will not even be entered with some carriers until the replacement department reviews the required forms first. Because these are state requirements, these or any other states can change them at their discretion. If you are unsure, please call our licensing department for clarification.

Licensing & Commissions

Pay cycles differ per carrier. Some are daily, others weekly, and a few are monthly. Agents can email Toni-Anne Musto directly at tmusto@zenithmarketing.com and she will gladly tell you what pay cycles apply to you individually.

If all forms are in good order, most carriers can get appointments done within 5-7 days from the time it gets to their company.

When an agent is appointed they are notified by a formal letter from Zenith Marketing informing them of the contract completion as well as their agent number.

Most carriers only need you to submit the license of the state you are looking to add. There are exceptions to this rule, so it is the agent’s best bet to email Virginia Sulpy at vsulpy@zenithmarketing.com.

Some companies, mostly NY companies, pay a base rate of 50% directly to the agent. Zenith Marketing would then pay you the additional compensation up to the street level compensation noted on the compensation grid found in the licensing kit.

Some companies offer commission advances, which require banking information. Please contact Toni-Anne Musto for assistance for those companies that offer advances, or for the advance itself.

In some cases, you can be paid weekly instead of bi-monthly or monthly if you opt for Direct Deposit. Generally, agents who are on direct deposit type programs, get their funds approximately 2-3 days sooner than those that are mailed.

If you plan to submit 3 or more licensing applications, the Online Licensing Service on our website is the perfect place to start. Fill out your data once and click on the companies you wish to get appointed with. Otherwise, we recommend that you request a licensing package from your sales representative for any carrier that cases are going to be written with. Completed licensing can be faxed to Virginia Sulpy at 732-579-5451. Original licensing forms are never needed.

Agents can contact our commissions department, via email, for any and all commission inquiries. Send your email to tmusto@zenithmarketing.com.
