Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. The Zenith New Business Transmittal assists your case manager in entering the application quickly by giving them important details on the case regarding the agent, the client, medical orders, and if the case was discussed before submission. Additionally, the signed Zenith HIPAA allows Zenith to obtain access to otherwise confidential information and to discuss the case informally with other carriers should we need to move the case to a different carrier. It saves you time by not having to go back to the client a second time for signatures if we need to shop the case to other carriers.
After logging onto our website, click on the ‘Case Status’ link in the Quick Links box to view your cases.
Insurance carriers and states have certain requirements, which can be changed at their discretions. Often, applications will not even be entered with some carriers until all the requirements are fulfilled. Please contact your case manager to discuss any mandatory items so you can ensure your case moves smoothly through the new business process with minimal delays.
Licensing & Commissions
Pay cycles differ by carrier. They can be daily, weekly, or monthly. Please contact the Licensing & Commissions Department at LCSupport@zenithmarketing.com and we will gladly tell you what pay cycles apply to you individually.
If all forms are in good order, most carriers can get contracts completed within 5-7 days from the time it gets to their company.
When you get contracted, you are notified by a formal letter from Zenith Marketing Group informing you of the contract completion, as well as your agent number with the carrier.
Most carriers only need you to submit the license of the state you are looking to add. There are, however, exceptions to this rule. If you're interested in adding another state to your current carrier appointment, contact our Licensing & Commissions Department at LCSupport@zenithmarketing.com for assistance. Please note, some carriers assess fees for adding a state, which is the responsibility of the agent.
Some companies, mostly NY companies, pay a base rate of 50% directly to the agent. Zenith Marketing Group would then pay you the additional compensation up to the street level compensation noted on the compensation grid found in the contracting kit.
Some companies offer commission advances, which require banking information. Please contact the Licensing & Commissions Department at LCSupport@zenithmarketing.com for assistance with those companies that offer advances, or for the advance itself.
In some cases, you can be paid weekly instead of bi-monthly or monthly if you opt for Direct Deposit. Generally, agents who are enrolled in Direct Deposit, get their funds approximately 2-3 days sooner than those that are mailed.
If you plan to submit 3 or more contracting applications, the Online Contracting service on our website is the perfect place to start. Fill out your data once and select the companies you wish to get contracted with. Otherwise, we recommend that you request a specific carrier's contracting package from your sales representative. Completed contracting can be emailed to LCSupport@zenithmarketing.com or faxed to 732-579-4105. Original contracting forms are never needed.
You can contact our Licensing & Commissions Department at LCSupport@zenithmarketing.com for all commission inquiries.
