U.S. will urge Europe to disclose results of banks' stress tests

U.S. officials want Europe to address concerns about the sovereign-debt crisis by publicly disclosing results of stress tests done on major banks. "This crisis is multifaceted, but I believe bank stress tests can be helpful as a critical component of any comprehensive plan to restore confidence in the European financial system," said Lee Sachs, who recently served as a leading adviser to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.
